[Delete] | In the distant future Delos corp has managed to harness the ability to manufacture synthetic beings who function akin to robots. These synthetics known as hosts are programmed with personalities yet have a sense of awareness and artificial intelligence. These hosts play out stories within WestWorld and aim to please the Guests that come to west world. The hosts have no clue that they are not "real" and their world is all they ever know, thinking that when they are brought in from the park that they are in dreams. These hosts are treated every which way by Guests, from being romanced, or even tortured and murdered. They aim to please.
